Le buste du commandant français Yves Le Prieur (1885-1963)

Militaire et ingénieur français né le 13 mars 1885 à Lorient mort le 2 juin 1963 à Saint-Raphaël.

1926 : le commandant Le Prieur réalise une plongée autonome avec une réserve d'air.

1933 : Mise au point du scaphandre autonome par le commandant Le Prieur (amélioré par Cousteau et Gagnan en 1943 grâce à l'introduction du détendeur) .
